What is your cancellation policy?
Alternate days may be offered, 24 hr advance notice. We understand weather and personal circumstances change so we will do our best to work with you.
Cancellation Policy: 24hrs+ of departure – 100% refund
12hrs-24hrs of departure – 50% refund
Up to 12 hrs and no shows – no refund
Can you pick me up from my accommodation?
Yes, we can pick you up at your accommodation and drop off afterwards.
What do I bring?
- A full water bottle (refill water available)
- Hat
- Camera
- Swimmers and towel for specific tours.
- Thongs are good but comfortable footwear for bushwalks.
- For sunrise tour dress warm in the winter months
Do you cater for children?
The tours are not recommended for infants unless it is a private tour. The tours best suits children 4 and over.
Can we swim?
Yes, at Cedar Creeks Falls. Cape Gloucester has a pool and in winter the ocean. Stinger suits can be hired for summer. Bowen is also good in winter and stinger suits in summer.
Are meals included on tours?
Sunrise tour breakfast is included. Morning tea for Bowen. Snacks for Cape Gloucester but lunch at own cost.
Does Cedar Creek Falls flow all year?
No. The wet season during summer is the best time for the falls. We will not operate the tours when the waterfall is not flowing.
Are your guides experienced?
Yes. As sole owner and operator, Cherene has worked in the outdoor industry for 30 years. She is an accredited Savannah Guide and Eco Nature guide which follows very high standards in all aspects of guiding.
Can you take wheelchairs?
No. The tour bus is not equipped. Can take walkers and it has a portable step for easier entry and exit.
How many people can you fit on bus?
11 guests plus driver.

Trips require a minimum of 2 participants to operate and Full day trips 3.
Itineraries maybe subject to change due to weather or road conditions. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and to fully refund affected customers although every effort will be made to maintain the normal
operation.
Driftwood Tours operates in varied outdoor locations. Weather conditions can cause walkways to be slippery or wet. There will be uneven surfaces, wildlife, heat, rain and circumstances that are beyond our control. Swimming will not be supervised and in summer months jellyfish may be
present. Driftwood Tours will do its utmost best for guests’ safety and cannot take responsibility for injury or illness that is beyond our safety talks.
